That's a great looking trike. I love that color. The only thing missing is the chrome fan cover I just put one on the black one. When Bill stops by again I'll have to get a pic of it. It really looks good.
Chrome

Ya, I'm the one who sent you a PM about the filter canister. I'm planning on some chrome too! Just waiting for the end of the month so I can start doing something.. I've got the trike & 2 Longbo Alien 150's to work on over the winter.
1 year ago, I had a serious motorcycle accident, broke my leg at the knee + compartment syndrome. I was going to work last October, it was like 4:00 am, cold, wet, rainy, foggy, my glasses started to fog up, came over a hill w/ a curve just over the top, ended up on the shoulder & then caught the wet grass, bike started to go out from under me, foot come off the running board hit the ground, the leg got sucked under the bike, my 995 lb bike ran over my leg, end of story.. I had 3 surgeries, laid up 4 months, now permanently disabled, so now I'm limited to that once a month check.. That's one of the thing I like about the trike, it's a little easier w/ the disability in all.. I still ride my big motorcycles, but it's a lot harder now, I have a harder time getting on, & off, & I have a harder time shifting.

Re: MY 2009 ICE BEAR PST150-11 SUPER TRIKE
Wow sorry to here about the wreck. I remembered your screen name from scoot dawg. I just sold my last big bike in Aug. '84 GPZ 750 and went totally scoots. Man I miss it though 115 in 3rd gear. But with every year I get older speed is less as important as I don't heal as fast. I had a bad wreck when I was younger where I had 1/2 of my face ripped off. That unfortunatly is when I learned the importance of wearing a helmet. I love my scoots, just wish I would have gotten one yrs ago.
SPEED
I Love Speed!! But I'm also getting to old for that nonsence.. The fastest I've been is 105 mph on a 1973 RD 350 Yamaha, 2 stroke, 315 lb machine. A 315 lb bike at 90 mph + doesn't put much weight on the road.. I went across the Genessee River bridge on Rt. 5 & 20 here in NY State at 105 mph & the front tire lifted off the road, I almost wet my pants.. But before that, I put that bike down at 95 mph before I even had my motorcycle licence, I walked away, & 1 year later or so, I laid the same bike down again at 60 mph on a s curve, again I walk away.. A year later a friend took it for a spin around the block, I worned him that it wasn't a 4 stroke like he was used to, I said "this bike will get away from you" he left the yard w/ the front wheel in the air, 2 hours later we get a call he was headed to hospital.. He come to a curver and could nogosiate the curve (because of the light weight of the bike) went through a yard, broke a tree limb w/ his head, shattered 2 saw horses, dent a metal building that he bounced off of, & then straight into a 6' boulder, put front wheel into the engine, needless to say, bike was Totaled. Then I crashed my 84 Honda Goldwing, Aspincade GL1200 last October, like I said earlier I didn't walk away this time, my luck had ran out...
I still have a 1979 Suzuki GS750, 1982 Yamaha 650 Maxim, 1973 Honda CB360, 1929 JD74 Harley (1200, sueside shift, side valve engine) restoration project, 2006 Longbo Alien 150, 2008 Longbo Alien 150, & the 2009 ICE BEAR.. I think I still need a couple more, what do you think?? HA, HA!!
My wife has her motorcycle lisence & rides, along w/ my oldest son, who has his motorcycle lisence, he has a 1984 Iron Head Sportster Harley..

ICE BEAR Chain Guard Fix
Chain Guard on my ICE BEAR PST150-11 broke twice now. Welded broken chain guard mount & added a 3rd mounting point which utilizes muffler mount bolt. Cleaned & repainted & baked in oven..

The black one on this site has had the chain guard break a bunch of times. I don't weld so it is being done somwhere else. I wonder if they do the same thing.

To days mods to the trike..
To days mods, nothing real serious, just getting some minor things out of the way..
