Winterizing
With Fall in the air it's time to start thinking winterizing.
There are a couple of things you should do to prepare your scooter for winter storage.
One is change all fluids. (mainly oil)
Fill your gas tank and add fuel stablizer (the full tank prevents condensation from building in the tank)
Install a dry plug in your spark plug hole. (A dry plug is a plug that removes and prevents moisture in the cylinder head)
Engine fogging oil. I prefer to fog my engine before I put it away.
Remove and charge the battery. This is a must if you don't want to replace your battery in the spring.
If your not comfortable doing these, find a reputable dealer that can complete this for you but these steps are important.
